June 13, 2017 – Surrey, BC
Today we have more than 2300 signatures and a strong network of SkyTrain supporters calling for a better deal for transit riders South-of-Fraser!
In the coming weeks we will have another opportunity to make this call. TransLink has announced the next round of Surrey-Newton-Guildford LRT consultations, and three additional Open House sessions will be happening, starting this Saturday at the Surrey Arts Centre. Please be sure to add the dates in your calendar!
The survey is available at the following link:

On the final comment box in the survey, be sure to mention that you would prefer it if TransLink cancelled the Surrey-Newton-Guildford LRT project, in addition to any of your own comments. A sample comment you can copy & paste is below:
TransLink should cancel the Surrey-Newton-Guildford LRT project in favour of Bus Rapid Transit on King George Blvd & 104 Ave, and should consider building the second phase project as an extension of the existing SkyTrain Expo Line.

SkyTrain for Surrey is a local grassroots organization calling for a SkyTrain and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) network instead of the currently-proposed on-street Light Rail system in Surrey. Our campaign has called on decision-makers to build the Langley Extension of the SkyTrain Expo Line, in conjunction with an extension of the 96 B-Line to Coquitlam Centre and White Rock as a Bus Rapid Transit system.
Our campaign directors: Daryl Dela Cruz (Surrey, chair), Jacky Au (Surrey), Spencer Whitney (Langley)
